The Pork Chop-inspiration Sweepstakes (the “Giveaway”) starts on May 14, 2012 at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”), and ends on May 27, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. ET (“Giveaway Period”). The Giveaway will be divided into fourteen (14) daily entry periods (each, a “Daily Entry Period”). Each Daily Entry Period will begin at 12:00 a.m. ET and end at 11:59 p.m. ET the current day, except on May 14, 2012, which will begin at 12:01 a.m. ET.
ELIGIBILITY: Giveaway is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, who are at least 18 years of age. Employees of the National Pork Board (“Sponsor”), Weber Shandwick, Cold Brew Labs, Inc. (“Cold Brew Labs”) and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, promotion and advertising agencies, and members of their immediate family (spouse and parent, children and siblings and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and persons living in the same household, whether or not related, of such employees, are not eligible to enter or win. Void where prohibited by law. Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. This Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Cold Brew Labs. By participating in this Giveaway, you understand that you are providing your information to Sponsor and not to Cold Brew Labs. HOW TO ENTER: During the Giveaway Period, visit www.Pinterest.com/PorkBeInspired and follow the directions provided below:
Step 1: After you become a Pinterest member, follow the directions provided at pinterest.com to create a Pork Chop-Inspiration Pin (hereinafter “Pin”) on Pinterest. Only one (1) Pin per person and per email address is permitted. Pins created by any person or email address in excess of the stated limitation will be void.
Step 2: Pin one (1) inspiring pork chop meal idea showcasing juicy, tender pork chops. The photo must be from PorkBeInspired.com (“Pork Photos”) or must be your original recipe photograph (“Original Photos”).
Step 3: To receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes, choose one of the below options:
· Option 1: Follow @AllAboutPork on Twitter and “tweet” the URL of your Pin to @AllAboutPork, including the hashtag #ChopInspiration.
· Option 2: Email the URL of your Pin to porksocial@gmail.com, including your name, email address and phone number.
Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. ET of a Daily Entry Period to be considered for the applicable Daily Entry Period drawing. Limit one (1) entry per person, per household, per email address, for a maximum of one (1) entry throughout the Giveaway Period. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated means or by any means which subvert the entry process are void. Entries received from any person, household, or email address in excess of the stated limitation will be void. All Entries become the sole property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.
Original Photos must comply with the format and file size requirements specified on Pinterest.com.
REQUIREMENTS OF ORIGINAL PHOTOS: Original Photos may not contain, as determined by the Sponsor, in its sole discretion, any content that:
- is sexually explicit or suggestive; unnecessarily violent or derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group; profane or pornographic; contains nudity;
- promotes alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing); promotes any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous; promotes any particular political agenda or message;
- is obscene or offensive; endorses any form of hate or hate group;
- defames, misrepresents or contains disparaging remarks about other people or companies;
- contains trademarks, logos, or trade dress (such as distinctive packaging or building exteriors/interiors) owned by others (with the exception of the Pork Photos);
- contains any personal identification, such as license plate numbers, personal names, e-mail addresses or street addresses;
- contains copyrighted materials owned by others (including photographs, sculptures, paintings, and other works of art or images published on or in websites, television, movies or other media) (with the exception of the Pork Photos);
- contains materials embodying the names, likenesses, voices, or other indicia identifying any person, including, without limitation, celebrities and/or other public or private figures, living or dead;
- contains look-alikes of celebrities or other public or private figures, living or dead;
- communicates messages or images inconsistent with the positive images and/or good will to which Sponsor wishes to associate; and/or
- violates any law.
Original Photos must be the original work of the entrant, and must not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, rights of privacy, publicity or other intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity. By submitting an Original Photo, entrant warrants and represents that he/she consents to the submission and use of the Original Photo in the Giveaway and to its use as otherwise set forth herein.
Sponsor grants to eligible entrants a limited, revocable, sub-licensable, license to use the Pork Photos provided at PorkBeInspired.com for the sole purpose of creating and submitting an Entry for review and assessment in this Giveaway and entrants may make no further use whatsoever of the Pork Photos for any purpose whatsoever. In addition, entrant recognizes all of the right, title, and interest in the Pork Photos as well as all derivative works created using the Pork Photos (including the Entry) shall vest exclusively to the Sponsor, and entrant must not take and agrees not to take any action that might harm or adversely affect such rights. No right, title, or interest in and to the Pork Photos except for the limited license granted to entrant in these Official Rules is transferred or created.
By submitting an Original Photo, entrant hereby grants permission for the Original Photo to be posted on Pinterest.com or other Sponsor websites. Entrant agrees that Released Parties (as defined below) are not responsible for any unauthorized use of Original Photos by third parties.
USE OF ENTRIES: All entrants hereby agree that upon submission of their Original Photo, Sponsor shall have an unlimited, royalty-free, non-exclusive, transferrable, sub-licenseable, irrevocable license to reproduce, edit, copy, adapt, modify, distribute, license, sell, transfer, publicly display, transmit, and otherwise exploit the Original Photo, and that Sponsor shall have the right to publish the Original Photo in any media now known or hereafter devised, worldwide, and use it in perpetuity, for any lawful purpose, including promotional purposes, without further compensation, notification or permission.
RANDOM DRAWINGS: One (1) potential Daily Prize winner will be selected for each Daily Entry Period in a random drawing held within approximately seventy two (72) hours following the end of each applicable Daily Entry Period from all eligible entries. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for the applicable drawing. Non-winning entries from one Daily Entry Period drawing will carry over into subsequent Daily Entry Period drawings. Limit one (1) Daily Prize per person and/or per household and/or per email address for the duration of the Giveaway Period.
WINNER NOTIFICATION: Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to this Giveaway. Potential winners will be notified via email and will have forty-eight (48) hours from time of notification to provide their shipping and contact information and may be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release and, where lawful, a publicity release within the time period designated. If such documents are not returned within the specified time period, if prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, Sponsor is unable to contact a potential winner within a reasonable time period, potential winner fails to respond within the time specified, or a potential winner is not in compliance with these Official Rules, prize will be forfeited and, at Sponsor’s discretion, an alternate winner may be selected for the Daily Entry Period drawing at issue. If a potential winner is an eligible minor in his/her jurisdiction of residence, prize may be awarded in the name of his/her parent or legal guardian who will be responsible for fulfilling all requirements imposed on winner set forth herein.
DAILY Prizes (14) (One (1) per Daily Entry Period): One (1) Pork Chop-inspiration Giveaway Coupon Package consisting of one (1) set of grilling tools, ten (10) Five US Dollar ($5.00) coupons to purchase fresh pork, and one (1) meat thermometer. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) for each first prize: $100.00. Total ARV for all First Prizes: $1,400.00
General Prize Conditions: Total ARV of all prizes: $1,400. All prize details are at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Coupons are subject to certain terms and conditions as specified by issuer. The total value of a coupon must be redeemed at one (1) transaction. Any unused balance will not be awarded. Coupons must be surrendered at time of redemption. Coupons expire on 12/31/2012. Coupons may not be used online or in conjunction with any other offer or discount. Coupons are valid only in the U.S.A. and void where prohibited. Reproduction of these coupons is prohibited. All prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied. No substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent of prize is permitted, except by Sponsor, which reserves the right to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion. Any and all federal, state and local taxes on the prizes, and any other costs, fees, and expenses not explicitly stated herein as being awarded, are the sole responsibility of the winners.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: By participating, each entrant agrees: (a) to abide by these Official Rules and decisions of Sponsor and judges, which shall be final and binding in all respects relating to this Giveaway; (b) to release, discharge and hold harmless Sponsor, Cold Brew Labs, Weber Shandwick, and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising and promotion agencies, and the respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents and representatives of the forgoing (collectively, “Released Parties”) from any and all injuries, liability, losses and damages of any kind to persons, including death, or property resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from entrant’s participation in the Giveaway or any Giveaway-related activity or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any awarded prize; and (c) to the use of his/her name, voice, performance, entry, and/or likeness for programming, advertising, publicity and promotional purposes in any and all media, now or hereafter known, worldwide and on the Internet, and in perpetuity by Sponsor and its designees, without compensation (unless prohibited by law) or additional consents from entrant or any third party and without prior notice, approval or inspection, and to execute specific consent to such use. MISCELLANEOUS: Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, inaccurate, stolen, delayed, misdirected, undelivered, or garbled entries, or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Giveaway, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Giveaway, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prizes, or in any Giveaway-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Giveaway. Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to any person's computer related to or resulting from participating in this Giveaway or downloading materials from or use of the website. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the Giveaway or website, who act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or who are in violation of these Official Rules, as solely determined by Sponsor, will be disqualified and all associated Entries will be void. Should any portion of the Giveaway be, in Sponsor’s sole opinion, compromised for any reason, including virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of Entries, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Giveaway (or portion thereof) and, if terminated, at its discretion, select the potential winner(s) for the Daily Entry Period(s) at issue from all eligible, non-suspect Entries received for the applicable Daily Entry Period(s) prior to action taken using the judging procedure outlined above.
